Man, oh, man…

It took some time and I had to find the right help to do it, but I’m happy to announce my eBook is on Amazon and it placed #1 in its category in its first couple of days!!

I’m so excited its silly, but that’s because writing this book is something I dreamed of doing, didn’t know how to do, learned what to do to get it done and then did it. So… it’s a huge accomplishment for me and I’m dancing right now. (I’ve had an extra pep in my step since the day the book was finalized.)

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that I have the big head now. I just want to share with you how grateful I am that it’s finally done. After all, I thought about writing a book for a really, really long time.

What Held Me Back from Doing This Earlier?

Fear… plain and simple.

You see, I was afraid of what might happen IF I started talking about what I do to everyone.

I feared judgement, like what people would think of my book. Like it matters…
If we let worrying what other people think about us hold us back we will never go anywhere or do anything new. We’ll just stay stuck.

Who wants that?!

Life is just too short not to do what it takes to move closer to your dreams.
With that proclamation, I’m done keeping my mouth shut; done not sharing my vision with anyone who will listen to me; done hiding from the truth.

What is the truth?

It’s really simple. I want to leave the corporate world and my corporate job in the dust and do real estate investing full time. (I’m well on my way, too. The book certainly helps!)

I wrote the book as a way to more easily share my vision. But that’s only one of the reasons. Before we get to them, I’d like you to watch this short video. It’s my way of sharing my excitement and gratitude about where I am and where I’m going. Indulge me:


Writing a Book is GREAT for Business.

You’d think purely by hosting Cashflow games and meeting with investors and sellers that my credibility as a real estate entrepreneur would be massive.

But that’s not exactly right.

I found myself explaining over and over the WHY behind what I do and then WHAT I do in real estate investing, which is invest in multifamily properties in the United States.

People asked me so many questions about why I do the long-distance investing thing, which simply means that while I invest in properties on U.S. soil I actually live and work in Barcelona, that I figured I would write articles about my reasons. That way I could point people to the articles and help them gain a better understanding.

So I began writing articles and posting them to this site.

In short time, that action lead me to wanting to write a book that I could give people to clarify why I do what I do and how they might participate. The result is my book, GROW YOUR MONEY THE SMART WAY: A Guide to Investing in Multifamily Properties, Paying Less in Taxes, and Earning Great Returns as You Build Your Wealth and Your Asset Portfolio Quickly.

What happened next was amazing. I got sales and people started asking me lots of questions… like how they can 1) do what I do, and 2) work with me in my deals!!

To an investor type like me, that’s like candy on Christmas.

But, I need to stop here and tell you that I didn’t get here alone.

There’s someone on my team that helps me with my marketing and writing. Actually there are a couple of people. They educated me on the process of writing the book and then taking it through self-publishing. Then they told me how to market it and use in online to make it become a top-seller.

Boy, were they right!!

And I am grateful to know these individuals.

I’m also grateful for my wife, Blanca, because she did an amazing job on formatting the eBook!! But I can’t stop there. I’m grateful to the team that is helping me market the book so that more people find me out there in the great expanse of the Internet. I guess what I’m telling you is that it took a team to get here and I’m grateful to each and every member of that team.

What I have learned through the process of writing this book could, well, fill a book!!
The short story is that this little book… just 70 pages… allows me to:

Share my story, my journey and my WHY succinctly.

Answer questions investors and sellers have even before they ask.

Tell readers why I choose to live in Barcelona yet invest in the U.S.

Let people know in no uncertain terms that long-distance investing works well and why.

Give people a deeper look into my vision so they can figure out if they might like to share in my journey or just follow in my footsteps to create their own.

Educate readers about the many ways they could be letting their retirement accounts and savings accounts work for them so they can have excellent returns (and more money come retirement age).

See? There more to writing a book than you might think, huh? Writing was just the beginning; now I’m connecting with people in a bigger way… which was the point of doing this book in the first place.

I’d love to go further into that side of things, but I only have so much room here in this article.
