We all juggle.

Whether you’re like me, working a full-time job while growing my entrepreneurial venture, or you’re juggling clients as a freelancer or contract worker… or you’re juggling a job and taking care of your family… we all juggle something. And it can get to you.

Hey, we all get tired, right?

We can all drop into a funk.

Some days we just want to put our backpack down and just stop walking. But we can’t.

That’s what this week’s video is about. Stop juggling for about 6 minutes and give it your attention. I hope it brings you some motivation and peace.

So how do you get out of the funk?

Believe me, I get it.

We all want to quit from time to time.

Even me, but I don’t… and I won’t. Ever.

In a recent article I talked about how I balance my life as a full-time employee at a large corporation with building my dream life. The reason I wrote that article is because I get the question all the time, “Billy, how do you do this long-distance investing thing?”

I also hear, “How in the world do you work full-time in a day job AND work pretty much full-time as a real estate investor?! Don’t you get tired?”

The answer is of course I do, but I am working my plan and I’m sticking to it. This requires time and dedication. It requires a belief in myself.

But, again, I do indeed get tired. Really, really tired sometimes.

When I do, I pull myself up out of that funk by remembering WHY I started KeePon Cashflow in the first place and WHY I got into real estate investing.

On days when I’m exhausted, I get quiet and remember that I’m putting in this time and effort when I could be coming home from a really long day’s work to sit in front of the TV or jump online just to goof off and waste precious time because:

  • I want to live between Europe and the U.S.
  • I want to spend more time with my beautiful wife and my boys while they’re still young and so much fun to hang out with.
  • I want to live under my own terms and not answer to anyone or depend on a boss to dictate my future.
  • I want to have other alternatives vs. depending on one source of income.
  • I want to have more and more properties, which won’t happen if I give up.

Do you have a strong enough WHY?

After watching my video (above) and reading this article, maybe you can sit quietly with a pen and paper. Ask yourself WHY you are doing what you’re doing in business and in life, and how might you want things to change?

Then come up with reasons WHY you would want to change things. (In fact, come up with 5 Whys.)

Hey, if you’re satisfied with how things are… if you don’t want to put in the time and effort it takes to change your path… well, that is up to you. I’m not here to judge. It takes all types in this world, and we cannot all be the same!

For me, it’s important to keep growing and expanding my network and net wealth. (That way, I can have a fantastic quality of life in my golden years.)

For me, I’ll keep on doing what I’m doing until I have achieved my goal of having a good number of income-producing rental properties, preferably in a multifamily strategy. (Even if that means a mobile home park, which is a deal that I should be closing very soon!)

For me, there is no other way. Right now, during the day I’m an executive at a great company. I travel a lot for business. I network wherever I go. I help as many people as I can by answering their questions and being a mentor if they need one.

Sometimes I get to take vacations with my family, which makes me a very happy man. Sometimes I take a little breather from my adventures in real estate simply to unwind. You know why I can do that? Because I have a great team of individuals who are all helping me toward my goals. (Notice I didn’t say one single goal… because once I reached the first I kept going, creating new goals and am doing what it takes to get to the next and the next.) But that’s a topic for another day!

For now, I’ll leave you with this…
