Oh, boy…

I can’t wait to share the third part of my PLTO system!!

It’s hard to believe we’re already into the third part of my 4-part series, but it’s true. So let’s get into it…

In the first article, I shared about the “P” part of my system. That gave you the information you need to determine who you are as an investor, the type of tenant you want to serve and the type of property that matches those two criteria.

In the second article, I shared about the “L” part of my system, which gave you the basis of how to choose the right location for your real estate investing endeavors and why you need to research different locations before you put your money in a property.

In this third article in this series, I’m going to cover the “T” in my PLTO system. If you want to watch a short video I created to go with this article, you can watch it now:

So, what’s the “T” stand for and why do I need to know?

The “T” in my PLTO system stands for the “Team” you’ll need to build to scale up your real estate investing business.

That’s what you are building.

Unless you’re just going to invest in one multifamily property. Well, even that’s a business, my friend. And you can’t run it on your own. You can do a lot of tasks yourself at first, but you’ll burn yourself out if you try to keep doing it all.

You need to build a team.

But it can’t be just any team.

The people you bring onto your team have to be in alignment with your mindset and goals. They have to understand the market in which you want to invest.

Once you find the right people, how do you get them to act cohesively as a team?

For me, members of my team live in different parts of the world. Communication is integral to the success of my team and, as a result, the success of my real estate business. We communicate a lot!!

If you want to know the members you should bring onto your team and how to get them to act like a team even when they are in different parts of the world, read these articles where I talk about these things a bit more in depth:

Of course, that’s not the only time I’ve talked about who you need on your team, but these articles give you a good start!!

I also invite you to download my eBook and other materials here, because they also touch on the topic of team-building:

I wrote these resources and all the content you find here on my website to give you a good base of what you need to know to be a successful real estate investor.

But it can’t be just any team. The people you bring onto your team have to be in alignment with your mindset and goals. They have to understand the market in which you want to invest.  – Tweet

In all sincerity, I hope my content is helping you to move forward toward your goals in real estate investing. Whether that means you want to be an active investor like me or a passive investor like those who financially back my bigger deals, it is my hope that my content is helping you in different ways.

Speaking about great educational material, I need to let you in on a little secret.

Right now, at this very moment, I’m working on a fun, step-by-step video course that will take a very DEEP DIVE in my PLTO system. It will come with helpful written companion content you will need to help you absorb everything I share with you. I’m pretty excited about doing this!!

Look for an invitation to check the course out soon.

For now, just keep reading the articles here in my blog and keep going with my 4-part series on how to get started in real estate investing.

In the next article and video in this series, I’ll explain the “O” in my system. It’s the final step that will help you get started in real estate investing. Use my system and you’ll be able to decide quickly whether a property is right for you or not.

At this point, because you’ve read the articles in this 4-part series, maybe you’ve been thinking about what you’ve learned and you already know who you are as an investor, whom you want to serve, where you want to buy properties and that you’ll need a team if you want to scale up. As for the last part… the “O” in my PLTO system, you’ll have to wait for the final article.  ; )

For now, do me a favor and answer this simple question:

Of the team members you know you’ll need as you build your real estate investing business in the multifamily property space, which team member or members will be most critical in the beginning?

I want to hear your answer. Share it in my Facebook Fan Page:
