Every week I do my best to give you good content.

There’s only one reason…

I want to share my journey with you and help you learn a few things along the way that will:

1) Give you a better understanding of what it’s like to invest in real estate either passively or actively, and …

2) Provide you with real-world insights into what it’s like for me as a father, husband, working warrior of the 9-to-5 world while at the same time building my dream with real estate.

Why do I keep going even when I’m tired or busy?  Or even on vacation… ☺

Why do I keep adding properties to my portfolio?

Easy.

I am building a legacy to be proud of and something I can leave to my sons one day… in the distant future, of course.   ; )

I have a goal to have 300 units of property by the end of 2019!!

That said, it’s not all work, work, work.

I get to have a lot of time with my beautiful wife, Blanca, and my two boys. We travel, we ski, we trek, we spend weekends together and, all in all, we have a wonderful life for which we are all grateful. I know I am!!

That’s what I want for you, too.

That’s why I keep telling you to educate yourself on what it takes to participate in real estate investing and deals.

Because it’s summer and we’re all pretty busy… plus, I finished my first substantial course (bit.ly/kpcfpltosummercourse) that I launched for you 2 weeks ago….

I decided this week I’d give you a compilation of the funnier and more fun articles I’ve published here over the past couple of years.

Did you see this one?

featuredthings Things I Learned While Skiing with My Sons…
Man, I love to watch my kids as they learn new things… like skiing in this case.

The look of achievement can’t be beat!!

That’s what I talk about in in this article, too:

whatilearnedfeatured What I Learned about Mastering New Skills from Watching My 7-Year-Old Tie His Shoes
I just love the picture my designers used for this article.

By the time you finish reading it, you’ll know that the same process of learning to tie your shoes is the process by which you learn how to do deals in real estate. It’s just how our brains operate!

And talk about brain matter… did you read this one?

What You Can Learn from Multi-Billion-Dollar CEOs

If you haven’t read that one yet, why not?

There’s a whole lot of insight into what it takes to become a billionaire.

If that one doesn’t strike your fancy, let’s go way back to one that was really fun for me to write. It was one of my first and it continues to make a valid point today:

Investing In Real Estate vs. Keeping Your Money in a Shoe Box

With interest rates being so very low today (about the same as when I wrote this piece back in June of 2016), you may as well keep your money in a shoe box under your bed. The returns will be about the same as if you put your savings in the bank.

Hey, maybe you’ll get a little more if you put your money into a retirement account, but if you want to access the funds for real estate investing, have you thought about using a Self-Directed IRA (SDIRA). I wrote about that a lot last year.

Here’s just one piece:

What Will YOUR Retirement Look Like?

The long and short story is that if you want to live a quality life, you need to plan it early and make the right investment decisions.

You can use your SDIRA as well as a couple of other types of retirement accounts. Best if you have a chat with your retirement account custodian and accountant. (I’m not certified in these areas.)

Next week I’m hoping to have a very special article to share with you, but I can’t make promises.

Do me a favor. Be patient. Read the articles I’ve given you today. They make for good summer reading!! Plus, you’ll learn a thing or two.

As always, I’d love to hear from you.  : )

If you have feedback on this or any of my articles you read in my blog, please let me know. You’ll find me online everywhere, including YouTube. I love to read people’s comments under my videos… and I have lots of them that I hope you find helpful in your real estate investing journey!
